   It all started in early 1951 when a group of close friends sharing a fascination for orchids joined forces in pursuit of better knowledge on how to cultivate and nurture the largest family of flowering plants. Their passion and curiosity ultimately led to the creation of the Santa Clara Valley Orchid Society, which has since grown to become a major contributor to the advancement of orchid horticulture in the Bay Area.

   Today the Santa Clara Valley Orchid Society is a major participant in within the orchid world of the Bay Area while helping new generations cultivate their orchid horticultural know-how. Come join us!
