I've been growing orchids for >30 years but have only been a member for 10. I have a greenhouse and a variety of orchids. All of the orchids have either been purchased directly from orchid growers or while attending orchid shows. I enjoy growing orchids because they seem exotic but for the most part are easier to grow than a lot of other flowering plants. I live in southern Santa Clara County where it is not unusual to have summers that register >105' and winters that register below freezing.
